Logistics manager (M/F/X)

Atelier Vierkant is a family business active in handmade ceramic vases, pots and objects. It produces high quality clay pots, each pot is unique and handmade in the Ateliers in Ostend. As a logistics manager, you are responsible for organizing the daily shipments. Our products are shipped all over the world. Once an order is ready, you contact the customer to take care of the shipment from A to Z

- You choose the right transportation method depending on type of goods and destination and monitor the shipment until it is delivered to the customer.

- You organize and plan the packing department, which consists of 4 to 5 people.

- You provide the logistics department with all necessary info and paperwork.

- Besides the transport operations, you are also partly responsible, together with your colleagues for the day-to-day administration and follow up.

- You solve problems with damaged goods quickly and efficiently. In case of changes and/or problems during transport you take care of a customer oriented solution.

As a logistics manager, you work independently, flexible and you work proactively to build a good relationship with the customer. We are looking for someone who is proficient in Dutch, English, French and German. Furthermore, you are a born problem solver who is strong in planning and communication, as well as inside our organization, as well as with customer. We offer an environment where you get the space to work independently and take on responsibilities. We are offering a full-time position, from 8:30- 17:00, Monday to Friday. We look forward to an immediate permanent hire, start as soon as possible. Salary is negotiable and dependent on knowledge and experience.
