Restaurant Lux opened its doors in 2013. After 10 years since its early start in 2001, a total redesign of the interior and exterior was due. AID Architects chose for both a simple and luxurious design where authentic elements and materials of the historical building in combination with modern Scandinavian accents. With Master cook Bert Zaman in the kitchen, the culinary level was brought to new heights. For the decoration of the bar Festiv, just next tot the Lux, the architects chose for a slick design with echoes of the docks and the maritime location: right riverside of the Schelde ('t Eilandje) just next to the Bonaparte docks and the marina. The clay pebbles of the K- Series complete the setting and are object to discussion for guests and accidental passers-by.
